When visiting Emerald Isle there are a ton of options for dining, here are a couple of recommendations to help navigate some of the options.
Flipperz - Great Seafood and non-seafood options with cool drinks as well. Not as expensive as other places either. Parking is tough though due to the Fish Hut grill next door which is extremely popular and worth checking out too. Go Early for shorter lines. To the West toward Emerald Plantation.
Anchor Pizza - Great pizza and wings with many beers on draft. The go to pizza place when visiting. Sound side seating as well! To the East in Salter Path.
Big Oak Drive-in and BBQ - Iconic stop for fried seafood and BBQ. They are most famous for the shrimp burger, but we enjoy it as the closest BBQ place to the house. To the East in Salter Path.
Rucker John’s - If you don’t want seafood this is a great option for American cuisine for your family. To the West down in Emerald Plantation.
Mezcalito - A great Mexican option which is further away than others (32 minutes in Beaufort). Really amazing food though, if you have a big appetite try the King Burrito, and on Front Street which runs alone Taylor’s Creek which you may end up going to anyway for the scenery or to catch a cruise. To the East in Beaufort.
Il Cigno Italiano - Waterfront fine dining Italian in Swansboro. In-house daily made pasta. Back in Swansboro to the west just over the 24 bridge, about 20 minutes away.
Snapperz - Steam Pot is a good choice, outdoor seating/kid friendly play area outdoors. To the West of the house directly on 58.
Flip Flops Donuts - Homemade donuts with fun flavors and bagels. To the West of the house directly on 58.
Sweet Spot for ice cream. To the West across the street from Snapperz.
Circle Pizza and Subs - Pizza that is a delivery option. To the West of the house directly on 58.
